Anyon Systems and Matrix Group Partner to Accelerate International Quantum Supercomputing Deployments

Canadian full-stack superconducting quantum hardware vendor Anyon Systems has signed a strategic partnership with KMT Technologies Ltd., a member of the international technology integration conglomerate Matrix Group. Under the agreement, KMT will act as an exclusive distributor and authorized integration partner across strategic international markets, delivering on-premises quantum hardware integrated with high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Tightly Coupled QPU-GPU Architecture via Direct RDMA

Anyon Systems designs and manufactures its entire superconducting hardware stack in-house—spanning QPUs, cryogenic dilution refrigerators, control electronics, and its open-source Julia-based software suite (Snowflurry). The collaboration targets the growing demand from national governments, defense organizations, and research supercomputing centers seeking sovereign, on-premises quantum installations:

  • RDMA-Enabled Control Electronics: Anyon is developing its fourth-generation quantum control electronics layer to enable direct high-speed connectivity with GPU infrastructure using Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA). This provides a high-bandwidth, low-latency data path between classical AI clusters and quantum accelerators.
  • Full Lifecycle Support: KMT Technologies will establish dedicated regional engineering teams certified directly by Anyon Systems to manage installation, commissioning, local data center integration, and ongoing lifecycle maintenance.
  • Heterogeneous Supercomputing Focus: Led by Anyon Systems CEO Alireza Najafi-Yazdi and KMT Technologies CEO Moshe Azar, the initiative treats QPUs as specialized hardware accelerators operating inside unified HPC and AI workloads.

Scaling Beyond MonarQ Toward 100+ Qubits

The distribution expansion aligns with Anyon’s hardware scaling roadmap. Building on field experience gained from its 24-qubit MonarQ deployment at Calcul Québec (integrated into Canada’s national academic HPC network), Anyon is advancing toward the commercial launch of an upcoming 72-qubit platform, followed by next-generation systems exceeding 100 physical qubits.
