The Centre for University-Led Innovation and Commercialization (CUBIC) at Chandigarh University has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with venture capital firm 247VC Investment Trust. Signed during the PRAGATI Q-Foundry 2026 NQM Co-development and Venture Partnership Meet in New Delhi, the agreement establishes a structured investment and mentorship pipeline for quantum and deep-tech startups operating within the university’s incubation ecosystem.
Organized under the auspices of India’s National Quantum Mission (NQM) and the Ministry of Science and Technology, PRAGATI Q-Foundry 2026 focuses on transitioning academic quantum research toward industrial validation, co-development, and commercial deployment. CUBIC, serving as an academic and incubation partner for the national initiative, will identify eligible seed-stage and early-stage ventures in quantum computing, sensing, communications, and photonics to facilitate direct deal flow, pitch sessions, and due diligence reviews with 247VC and its syndicate networks.
