The Entropica Labs QEC Challenge is being held from May 21 to June 4, 2025. It is a two-week global competition designed to bring together the next generation of fault-tolerance architects. It will allow participants to take on real-world quantum error correction (QEC) challenges using Entropica’s Entwine, their intuitive interface for designing, visualizing, and testing QEC schemes. Cash prizes totaling $3000 Singapore dollars (about $2300 USD) will be awarded to finishers placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

The 5th Quantum Engineering Workshop, 2025 will be held at Caltech in Pasadena, California on May 29, 2025 as a hybrid (in-person/remote) event. The workshop will explore the latest advancements in quantum technology and engineering. Presentations will be made by leading researchers in quantum technology

 A Workshop on the mathematics of post-quantum cryptography and spring meeting SMS / SMG 2025 will be held on June 2-6, 2025 at the University of Zurich, Irchel Campus – Y15 G19,  Switzerland. This four-day workshop aims at bringing together leading researchers in the four main domains of post-quantum cryptography: lattice-based, multivariate, isogeny-based, and code-based cryptography. The workshop will provide an in-depth exploration of these fields and their connections. It will foster new collaborations and advance the state-of-the-art in post-quantum cryptographic techniques.

The 14th annual 2025 Adiabatic Quantum Computing (AQC) conference will be held on June 9-12, 2025 at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada. The 2025 conference features world-renowned speakers, dynamic panel discussions, and engaging keynotes exploring cutting-edge advancements and breakthroughs in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore diverse topics, including but not limited to experimental and theoretical methods for advancing quantum computing, quantum-inspired heuristics and hardware development and applications of quantum computing in science and industry.

The third annual Foundations of Quantum Computing workshop will take place on June 16-18, 2025 at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners at the intersection of quantum computing and quantum foundations. The goal is to exchange ideas, share insights, and foster collaborations on the fundamental aspects of quantum computing by bringing together researchers who may not otherwise come together in a small discussion-oriented workshop. Topics that will be discussed at this workshop include models of quantum computing and resources and foundations of quantum tomography

The Quantum Algorithms in Pre-Fault Tolerant Hardware Conference will be held on June 16-20, 2025 in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain.  This conference aims to foster a collaborative environment where scientists from diverse backgrounds, including large-scale quantum experiments, classical approximation methods, and quantum algorithms, can come together to explore the implications of this hardware progress. By facilitating interdisciplinary discussions and knowledge sharing, we seek to identify critical challenges and opportunities in leveraging pre-fault tolerant quantum hardware to tackle complex problems in quantum physics, chemistry, materials science, and beyond.

QUANTUM NOW is the quintessential quantum tech forum in Canada. It is an exclusive gathering hosted by Quantum Industry Canada (QIC) in partnership with Distriq Quantum Innovation Zone and Québec Quantique in Montréal, Québec on June 18-19, 2025. As quantum technologies leap from theoretical potential to practical application, the event brings together visionary executives from across industries, senior policy-makers, and investors on an exclusive platform to explore, connect, and strategize alongside leading quantum industry pioneers.

The 3rd TQCI International Seminar on Quantum Computer Benchmarks will be held on June 24-25, 2025 in Paris, France. This conference will provide an opportunity to take stock of the needs of the various players, the challenges and progress of the many international initiatives and the outlook for the years ahead, with particular attention paid to the need for standardisation. It will also be an opportunity to exchange views with an increasingly diverse range of players in the field. The seminar will be structured around several key sessions including benchmarking needs & challenges, overview of international application-oriented benchmarking initiatives, a review of hardware-level benchmarks, standarisation efforts, and future perspective & developments.

Quantum Korea 2025 will take place on June 24-26, 2025 at the aT Center (Exhibition Hall II), in Seoul, South Korea. This is an international event looking into the global trends of quantum ecosystem innovations. Global quantum science and technology researchers, related companies, and government representatives will be taking part. Celebrating the UN-designated International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, the event will explore the limitless potential of quantum science and technology beyond theoretical research, towards industrial applications and commercialization

The Quantum Datacenter Alliance (QDA) will host a forum on June 26, 2025 at the Battersea Power Station in London, England. The forum will cover topics about building datacenter-scale quantum computers and accelerating the timeline to fault tolerance. By collecting complementary perspectives from across the ecosystem, this forum will discuss the opportunities and challenges on the road to building large, scalable, and robust quantum computing service

The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Control, Computing and Learning (IEEE qCCL2025)  will be held at the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong on June 25-28, 2025. This conference will convene leading experts and researchers from a diverse array of scientific disciplines. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their latest research findings and delve into the most cutting-edge developments in the field of quantum technologies. This event also serves as a valuable platform for fostering scientific collaboration and academic exchange among colleagues across quantum control, computing, and learning communities.

The 2nd Workshop on Quantum-Secure Networks and Systems (QSNS 2025) will be held as a co-located event for one day during the 30thIEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications, July 2-5, 2025 in Bologna, Italy. The second edition of QSNS is again a joint initiative of the QUBIP and PQ-React projects, co-funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe framework programme on the transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) of protocols, networks, and systems. The QSNS2025 workshop will address the most pressing cybersecurity challenges of the quantum era from an engineering perspective, with the aim of contributing to global efforts towards an agile, post-quantum or post-quantum/traditional hybrid and standards-based transition to PQC of the digital infrastructures we all use today.

The Third International Annual Quantum Simulation Conference (QSim 2025) will be held on August 4-8, 2025 at IBM’s office in New York City. QSim is an international annual conference on quantum simulation that aims to bridge theory and experiment, bringing together physicists, engineers, chemists, material scientists, mathematicians, and computer scientists working at the forefront of quantum simulation and related problems that include applications, algorithms, verification, noise, scaling, etc. for both analog and digital approaches. A special session midweek will be devoted to charting the future of the field.

The IEEE Quantum Week will be held from August 31, 2025 to September 5, 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This conferences bridges the gap between the science of quantum computing and the development of the industry surrounding it. It brings a perspective to the quantum industry that differs from strictly academic or business conferences. IEEE Quantum Week is a multidisciplinary venue that gives attendees the unique chance to discuss challenges and opportunities with quantum researchers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, developers, students, practitioners, educators, programmers, and newcomers.

The Quantum Venture Summit connects quantum technologies startups with investors on September 3rd, 2025 at IEEE Quantum Week in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with registration required by July 2024. The event features market briefings and investor roundtables organized by Rafael Sotelo, Michael Baczyk, and Joanne Wong, with limited seating available and registration possible at quantumventuresummit.com.

The Quantum World Congress will occur on September 16-18, 2025 at the Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia within the Washington DC metropolitan area. This event unites global experts from industry, government, and academia to explore the latest breakthroughs in quantum research, applications, and commercialization. It includes keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and cutting-edge exhibits fostering collaboration and accelerating the development of the global quantum ecosystem. This annual event highlights the pivotal role of quantum technology in shaping the future, building on Greater Washington’s leadership as a hub for innovation.

The Superconducting Qubits and Algorithms (SQA 2025) conference will be held in Delft, The Netherlands on September 25-29, 2025. The conference is a not-for-profit scientific conference with a focus on science, technology, and algorithms relevant for superconducting quantum computers. It is organized by QuTech, Orange Quantum Systems, and IQM Quantum Computers in cooperation with the scientific community.

Quantum.Tech Europe 2025 will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands on September 29, 2025 – October 1, 2025 at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC. The conference will connect and share the key challenges, top trends and key updates across quantum computing, communications, sensing and technology alongside the leading innovators, researchers and industry pioneers. It will also include the European debut performance of Ion Maiden who provided the blast from the past at the Quantum.Tech drinks reception.

The 1st International Conference on Applied Quantum Methods in Computation Science and Engineering (AQMCSE) will take place on October 8-10, 2025 in Aachen, Germany. This conference focusses on applied quantum methods in computational science and engineering. It specifically aims to bring together the quantum industry and academia to discuss applied quantum methods that target real-world applications from the computational sciences. The conference aims to create a platform where participants can exchange ideas about the non-orthodox, creative ways of using quantum devices in hybrid configurations and by pooling expertise from various fields unlock the full potential of quantum technology.

The Quantum Security and Privacy (QSec) Workshop will be co-located with ACM CCS 2025 and held in Taipei, Taiwan on October 17, 2025. It aims to establish a focused venue dedicated to examining both the novel threats introduced by quantum technologies and the security of the quantum systems themselves. By bringing together experts from traditional security domains (e.g., post-quantum cryptography, network security) and quantum computing research (e.g., quantum key distribution, quantum architectures), QSec provides a forum for exposing emergent quantum-era threats, showcasing innovative defenses, bridging disparate communities, and charting a roadmap for future research.

The Q+AI (version 2.0) conference  being organized by Inside Quantum Technology will occur on October 20-22, 2025 in New York City. This second annual conference and networking gathering covering Quantum+AI is programmed by Lawrence Gasman and Bob Sutor.  Emphasis is placed on use cases in these fields: Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Robotics, Supply Chains, Data Centers, Security/Privacy, Product Design, Workflow and Integration in the Chip Industry.
