A Global Quantum Forum (GQF26) will take place July 21-23, 2026 at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago Illinois. GQF26 will explore some of society’s grand challenges—the biggest opportunities and toughest questions—and how quantum can address them across pharma, finance, energy, climate, and food ecosystems. The third annual Workshop on Broadly Accessible Quantum Computing returns at PEARC’26 on Monday, July 27 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. this workshop explores the latest advances in quantum computing, hybrid quantum-classical workflows, and the institutional models needed to make access practical for a broad set of research and education communities. New for 2026 will be a deeper focus on software stacks and tooling readiness, institutional access models including non-R1 institutions, and the policy and funding frameworks shaping near-term adoption.
A free Quantum Motor City summer camp for high school students will be hosted by Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, Michigan on July 29-31, 2026. This free camp was designed for high school students and features a look into quantum computing, an emerging technology at the interface of computer science, physics, and mathematics that can solve certain problems that are too complex for classical computers. During the three-day camp, participants reside in an MSU residence hall, tour the MSU campus, visit a quantum computing lab, and learn the basics of quantum computing by programming a quantum computer. Any high school student is eligible to apply and the program includes lodging and meals at no charge. All a student would need to cover is transportation to and from MSU.
The Silicon Quantum Electronics Workshop 2026 (SiQEW 2026) will be held on August 31 – September 2, 2026 and the International Conference on Spin Shuttling (ICOSS) will be held on September 3, 2026 at the Songdo Convensia in Incheon, South Korea.
