D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS), a leader in quantum computing systems, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., a trusted government IT solutions provider, have announced a partnership to expand access to D-Wave’s quantum computing technologies for the public sector. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as D-Wave’s Master Government Aggregator®, making its annealing quantum computing solutions available through various government contract vehicles, including NASA SEWP V, ITES-SW2, and OMNIA Partners.
The collaboration aims to address complex optimization challenges faced by government agencies, national labs, and systems integrators. D-Wave’s solutions, including real-time access to its Advantage™ quantum systems via the Leap™ cloud service, workforce training programs, and professional services, will support public sector priorities such as national defense, emergency response, energy resilience, and infrastructure optimization.
Lorenzo Martinelli, D-Wave’s Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the partnership’s role in accelerating government adoption of quantum computing, while Troy Meraw, Carahsoft’s Program Manager for Quantum Technologies, highlighted the potential of quantum solutions to tackle national challenges.
