D-Wave Introduces Service-Level Agreements for Leap Quantum Cloud Users Transitioning to Production

D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) announced new service-level agreements (SLAs) for its Leap quantum cloud service that will be offered to users moving applications into production. The SLAs will be included as part of D-Wave’s QCaaS production package. These SLAs guarantee 99.9% uptime and availability, offering customers confidence in the Leap service’s reliability and scalability as they integrate quantum computing into their business-critical operations.

Since its launch in 2018, Leap has processed nearly 200 million jobs, providing real-time, secure access to D-Wave’s annealing quantum computers and hybrid solvers. The service has maintained over 99.9% availability for its Solver API and hardware systems, handling a significant increase in demand. Recent upgrades have improved processing speeds by 30%, with the past year seeing a 215% surge in usage.

For businesses adopting quantum technology, D-Wave’s SLA provides assurances similar to those expected from traditional software-as-a-service platforms, reinforcing reliability and accessibility for production deployments.
