Eclypses’ MicroToken Exchange® provides cryptographic enforcement directly at the data payload level rather than relying solely on network transport layer security (TLS/IPsec):
- Payload-Level Tokenization: MTE replaces sensitive data payloads with single-use, self-verifying, non-mathematical tokens at the application layer. Intercepted data packets contain no reusable keys, certificates, or sessions, rendering captured traffic unusable to adversaries employing cryptanalytically relevant quantum computers (CRQCs).
- FIPS 140-3 Validation: Powered by the Eclypses Cryptographic Library (ECL—FIPS 140-3 Certificate #4690), the platform natively incorporates NIST post-quantum standards, including ML-KEM (FIPS 203) key encapsulation.
- Non-Disruptive Containerized Deployment: Distributed as a containerized software package across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle), MTE integrates into existing legacy systems and API endpoints within hours without requiring network re-architecture or code rewrites.
Federal Mandates and PQC Migration Deadlines
The partnership addresses accelerating federal requirements set by White House Executive Orders and OMB Memorandum M-26-15 (“Execution of the Migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography”), issued in June 2026:
- October 22, 2026 Submission Deadline: Under OMB M-26-15, all federal civilian executive departments and agencies must submit comprehensive PQC migration plans within 120 days of release, establishing actionable roadmaps for High Value Assets (HVAs).
- Integrator Execution Strategy: Sterling will incorporate Eclypses MTE into its federal PQC practice—alongside asset discovery (Eracent), network visibility (Gigamon, Fortinet), and AI workload verification (Quantum Helix AI Identity)—providing federal customers with automated cryptographic inventory, gap analysis, and zero-trust modernization.
