Horizon Quantum Joins QuEra Quantum Alliance to Strengthen Neutral-Atom Software Ecosystem

Horizon Quantum, a developer of quantum software development tools, has joined the QuEra Quantum Alliance. This alliance aims to foster collaboration and widespread adoption of neutral-atom quantum computing. Through this partnership, Horizon Quantum expects to integrate its software development tools with QuEra’s technologies, enabling users to code, compile, and deploy quantum applications on neutral-atom quantum computers.

Horizon Quantum develops software tools designed to simplify the programming of quantum computers, with expertise that includes automated algorithm synthesis and quantum compilation. The QuEra Quantum Alliance, launched last year, now includes over 25 organizations globally, comprising quantum hardware, software, and service providers. Alliance partners are engaged in joint market development initiatives and customer-facing projects, supporting the adoption of neutral-atom quantum computing. QuEra Computing specializes in developing quantum computers using neutral atoms.

The addition of Horizon Quantum is intended to enhance the Alliance’s software capabilities, thereby supporting the adoption and deployment of neutral-atom quantum computing. Dr Joe Fitzsimons, CEO of Horizon Quantum, and Yuval Boger, Chief Commercial Officer at QuEra Computing, commented on the benefits of combining their respective expertise in quantum software development and neutral-atom systems for developers. This collaboration aims to provide tools for utilizing neutral-atom architecture.
