Keysight Launches Quantum System Analysis Tool for System-Level Quantum Simulation

Keysight Technologies, Inc. has announced the release of Quantum System Analysis, a new Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solution for quantum engineers. The tool is designed to allow researchers to simulate and optimize complete quantum systems at the system level, thereby reducing reliance on costly cryogenic testing and accelerating validation of superconducting quantum systems.

The solution integrates diverse physical domains—electromagnetic, circuit, and quantum dynamics—into a unified simulation environment. Quantum System Analysis introduces two features:

  • Time Dynamics Simulator: Models the time evolution of quantum systems using Hamiltonians derived from electromagnetic or circuit simulations, enabling accurate simulation of experiments such as Rabi and Ramsey pulsing.
  • Dilution Fridge Input Line Designer: Allows precise modeling of cryostat input lines to qubits for thermal noise analysis and effective qubit temperature estimation, minimizing thermal photon leakage to improve system fidelity.

The solution is intended to streamline the quantum design workflow and accelerate time-to-validation by enabling early validation of quantum system designs. Quantum System Analysis is available as part of Keysight’s Advanced Design System (ADS) 2026 platform and primarily supports superconducting qubit platforms, though it is extensible to other modalities such as spin qubits.
