Maybell Quantum, a quantum infrastructure company, has announced a $40 million Series B financing round led by Addition. The investment will accelerate Maybell’s commercialization of its cryogenic and RF systems, which are foundational components for quantum computing. The company sees an “inflection point” where quantum systems are transitioning from research to real-world deployment, and this funding will help them to invest in new systems, scale manufacturing, and expand global partnerships.
Maybell’s product platforms, including dilution refrigerators and integrated wiring solutions, are designed to support higher qubit counts and lower error rates. The company aims to provide stable, reliable, and scalable infrastructure as quantum systems move into deployment. Todd Arfman, Partner at Addition, commented that Maybell is addressing a challenge in quantum computing by providing the foundational infrastructure on which the ecosystem relies.
The new funding will help Maybell accelerate deployments across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This investment is intended to provide the reliable, user-friendly systems needed by quantum teams for large-scale deployments. Maybell’s technology supports potential applications in drug discovery, materials design, process optimization, and secure communications.
