- Atomic-Precision UHV Processing: Utilizes Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) growth and bottom-up engineering techniques to synthesize high-purity quantum materials, minimizing defect densities that cause decoherence in physical qubits.
- End-to-End Packaging and Assembly: Integrates nanofabrication cleanroom space with advanced material characterization, automated chip testing, and packaging lines to support scalable production of central processing units for quantum systems.

Integration with NQCP and EU Sovereignty Mandates
The facility builds on the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s total commitment of DKK 2.9 billion (€390 million) to quantum technologies, working in tandem with the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme (NQCP) at the Niels Bohr Institute (University of Copenhagen), which targets building a fault-tolerant quantum computer before 2034.
