Sectigo, in collaboration with Crypto4A, has launched Sectigo PQC Labs, the industry’s first post-quantum cryptographic sandbox backed by an HSM (Hardware Security Module) meeting NIST’s full PQC (Post Quantum Cryptography) standards. The platform enables organizations to test, validate, and transition to quantum-resistant cryptography in a secure environment.
The initiative addresses two major threats: Harvest Now, Decrypt Later attacks, where encrypted data is stored today for future decryption by quantum computers, and the vulnerability of long-lived digital signatures critical to PKI, IoT, and legal systems. Crypto4A’s quantum-safe HSM technology ensures secure key generation and management, reinforcing cryptographic resilience.
Crypto4A recently became the first company to achieve full ACVP certification for all NIST PQC algorithm variants, demonstrating its leadership in quantum-safe security. Its QxHSM product supports quantum-safe firmware updates, root keys, and HSM-to-HSM communication, ensuring compliance with evolving cryptographic standards.
With NIST planning to deprecate current cryptographic algorithms by 2030 and ban them entirely by 2035, organizations must act now. Sectigo PQC Labs provides a sandbox for testing PQC assets, educational tools for PKI integration, and strategic guidance for quantum readiness. This launch marks a proactive step toward securing digital assets against quantum threats, helping organizations future-proof their security infrastructure.
