Singapore-based quantum-safe cybersecurity startup pQCee has raised $3.9 million in a seed funding round. The investment reflects a significant shift as commercial and government entities transition post-quantum cryptography (PQC) out of academic theory and into practical enterprise procurement frameworks. The round was co-led by government-backed deep-tech investor SGInnovate and Lotus One Investment, with participation from In Group Holdings, Wavemaker Ventures, SUTD Venture Holdings, and Apsara Investments.
The fresh capital will be used to expand pQCee’s domestic engineering footprint and accelerate its market entry into the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. It follows a $2.8 million institutional raise in 2022, bringing the company’s total secured capital to $6.7 million.
