SuperQ Joins QSECDEF Alliance to Support Sovereign Post-Quantum Transition

SuperQ Quantum Computing Inc. (CSE: QBTQ) has joined the Quantum Security Defence (QSECDEF) alliance, an international ecosystem focused on securing critical infrastructure against quantum-enabled threats. This integration comes as global pressure for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) migration intensifies, driven by established industry timelines such as Google’s 2029 target for systemic cryptographic updates. By aligning with QSECDEF, SuperQ aims to deploy sovereign quantum-safe protocols that mitigate the risks posed by “harvest now, decrypt later” strategies, where sensitive data is collected today for future decryption by maturing quantum hardware.

The collaboration centers on the deployment of the SuperPQC™ platform, an AI-orchestrated suite designed for cryptographic auditing and automated remediation. The platform provides detailed vulnerability logs for both web2 and web3 environments and implements NIST-standardized encryption across cloud services, email, and remote access systems. Beyond software-level updates, the initiative emphasizes infrastructure hardening through the use of quantum-resistant chips and hardware-level security layers. These measures are designed to defend against state-sponsored cyber activity and advanced side-channel attacks that target the physical components of secure communication networks.

Headquartered in Calgary, Canada, SuperQ maintains an international network of “Super Hubs” across North America, the Middle East, and Asia to facilitate the commercialization of quantum-classical hybrid systems. The company’s portfolio includes the ChatQLM interface, which is intended to lower the technical barriers for organizations seeking to integrate quantum-resilient workflows into their existing IT stacks. As a participant in the “Quantum Shield” framework, SuperQ’s focus remains on providing implementation-ready tools that enable governmental and enterprise entities to secure their digital borders while maintaining operational continuity during the global transition to next-generation security standards.
