Who’s News: Management Updates at Infleqtion and Pasqal

Infleqtion
Infleqtion has issued a press release announcing the addition of a new Senior Vice-President of Business Development, a Chief Marketing Officer, a Global Vice-President of Manufacturing, and three additional members to its Board of Directors.

Brent Schwarz has joined the company as SVP of Business Development responsible for driving enterprise adoption of Infleqtion’s technologies. Previously, he held positions at Luminar Technologies, a company providing LIDAR sensors and has other experience at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, Otto, Tyto LIDAR, Velodyne LIDAR, Magellan Navigation, and Intel. Julie McGee is now the Chief Marketing Officer responsible for global brands, go-to-market strategy, and strategic communications. She has previous executive marketing experience at Semtech and Intel Corporation. And Vernon Prince has joined the company as Global Vice-President of Marketing responsible for leading the development and scaling of Infleqtion’s quantum manufacturing capability. He previously held positions at Luminar Technologies, AML Superconductivity and Magnetics, and several other companies.

The additions to the company’s Board of Directors include Cathy Lego, George P. Bush, and Kristina Johnson. Ms. Lego has vast experience serviing on many different technology company boards and is currently a member of the board of Cirrus Logic and Guidewire Software. Mr. Bush is currently a partner at at the Michael Best & Friedrich LLP law firm and has deep connections in the State of Texas that can support Infleqtion’s efforts to build a manufacturing presence in the state. And Dr. Johnson is a former President of Ohio State University and has also served in other senior administrative positions at the University of New York at Albany, John Hopkins University, Duke University, and the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also has served as an Undersecretary of Energy and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Pasqal
Joël Kremer has been named Chief Commercial Officer at Pasqal. He previously was the Head of Sales for France, Benelux, and Nordics at Cloudblue, a company that provides commerce platforms-as-a-service. Mr. Kremer replaces Benno Broer who has left the company to form his new startup called Science Rockstars.
