Quantum Bridge has been accepted into the Canadian Government’s fast-track procurement program, following successful testing of its Symmetric-Key Distribution System (SDS). This system combines Distributed Symmetric Key Establishment (DSKE) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), including the Module-Lattice-Based Key-Encapsulation Mechanism (ML-KEM), a new encryption standard established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The integration of these technologies offers an unbreakable encryption method to safeguard sensitive data against future quantum threats.
Quantum Bridge’s technology addresses growing concerns about “harvest-now, decrypt-later” attacks by offering quantum-safe solutions. Its encryption method ensures the security of information such as financial data and medical records, making it appealing to sectors like government, telecom, banking, and healthcare. The company’s solution is ready for immediate use and can be integrated into existing communications infrastructure.
The acceptance into the Canadian government’s Innovative Solutions Canada Pathway to Commercialization program enables Quantum Bridge to explore commercial opportunities with the government. The solution has passed rigorous testing by Defence Research and Development Canada, ensuring its readiness for broad deployment.
Founded by Dr. Mattia Montagna and Professor Hoi-Kwong Lo, Quantum Bridge continues to innovate in quantum communication technologies to make the internet and cellular networks secure against quantum threats.
