QuSecure Has Won Another U.S. Government SBIR Award for PQC from the U.S. Air Force

QuSecure, Inc., a leader in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by AFWERX to address challenges in the Department of the Air Force. The Air Force will use QuSecure’s QuProtect™, the industry’s first end-to-end PQC software-based solution designed to protect encrypted communications and data with quantum resilience. This contract follows similar SBIR contract awards QuSecure has won from the U.S. Army in 2023 (Phase II SBIR) and the U.S. Government in 2022 (Phase III SBIR). The award recognizes QuSecure’s ability to enhance the combat fighting capabilities necessitated by modern warfare. The U.S. Government has shown urgency to move toward a quantum-safe future, with recent actions such as the Endless Frontiers Act and the Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Preparedness Act. A press release from the company announcing the award is available here.
