Kothar Computing has announced the launch of Kothar’s FORGE, a new scientific computing platform for solving complex quantum many-body problems. The browser-based platform is designed to provide an interactive computational physics environment for quantum researchers, with the aim of replacing manual coding with a responsive platform that can model and solve complex physics problems.
Kothar’s FORGE is built upon a proprietary Quantum Symbolic Algebraic Framework that is intended to reinterpret, compress, and accelerate problems to overcome previous compute constraints. The platform is designed for heterogeneous computing on classical hardware today and is being designed for future integration with quantum computers.
The platform is positioned to accelerate scientific discovery in condensed matter physics, chemistry, and material sciences. Kothar states that its platform can accelerate problem-solving by up to 10,000x, making modeling more accessible. The company is currently onboarding its first academic users and is accepting sign-ups for early adopters, with plans to release a public showcase of results soon.
