Quantum cybersecurity developer Quantum eMotion Corp. (NYSE American: QNC; TSXV: QNC; FSE: 34Q0) has submitted its eCore-Q PCIe Quantum Entropy Module for official validation under the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP). The validation testing package was independently assessed and submitted by cybersecurity laboratory Lightship Security Inc. through the production Entropy Source Validation Test System (ESVTS).

NIST SP 800-90B Standard & FIPS 140-3 Integration
NIST SP 800-90B establishes the rigorous mathematical and statistical requirements for validating non-deterministic random number generators (NRNGs) used across federal and high-security cryptographic infrastructure.
- Independent Verification: Lightship Security characterized, evaluated, and documented the physical unpredictability of QeM’s electron-tunneling Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) hardware to confirm compliance with NIST standard test suites.
- Prerequisite for FIPS 140-3: A formal Entropy Validation Certificate issued via the ESVTS is a mandatory building block for downstream FIPS 140-3 cryptographic module certifications. Once validated, system integrators can incorporate the eCore-Q module into regulated hardware products for government, healthcare, and enterprise finance deployments.
