Quanfluence Secures $10 Million to Build Full-Stack Photonic Quantum Computer Architecture

Bengaluru-based deep technology startup Quanfluence has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures. The financing includes follow-on investment from seed lead Pi Ventures alongside participation from Rainmatter by Zerodha. Incubated at the IIT Madras Incubation Cell, the company will deploy the proceeds to integrate its indigenously fabricated photonic integrated circuits (PICs), custom electronic control silicon, and software algorithms into a unified, full-stack photonic quantum processing system.

Founded in 2021 by a team of former semiconductor chip design executives (previously behind Silicon and Beyond) and quantum optics researchers, Quanfluence is advancing a hardware roadmap that targets initial photonic processors by 2027 and scalable fault-tolerant systems by 2029. Over the past two years, the company has commercialized near-term quantum-inspired hardware, including a time-multiplexed Optical Coherent Ising Machine (CIM) designed to accelerate combinatorial optimization problems in logistics and financial services.
