Quantum application software developer Kipu Quantum has entered into a strategic partnership with global IT consulting firm NTT DATA to scale enterprise quantum computing, industrial optimization, and quantum machine learning (QML) solutions across commercial sectors.
Announced by Kipu Quantum Managing Director Tobias Grab, co-founder Enrique Solano, and NTT DATA Europe & Latam executives, the collaboration aims to integrate hardware-tailored hybrid quantum algorithms directly into existing enterprise technology stacks.

|---|---|---|
| Operational Pillar | Partnership Integration & Scope | Enterprise Deliverables & Pilot Proofs |
| • Global Workforce Training | • Kipu Quantum Hub Deployment | • Provides QPU access and certified quantum training across NTT DATA’s global workforce of nearly 200,000 employees. |
| • Industrial Mining Pilot | • Komatsu Peru Deployment | • Applied quantum-enhanced machine learning (QML) models to predictive maintenance for heavy industrial mining machinery. |
| • Application Domains | • Hybrid Quantum-Classical Workflows | • Focuses on industrial production optimization, logistics, predictive maintenance, and financial risk management. |
| • Regional Footprint | • Latin America to Global Network | • Initiated in Peru to connect local technical capabilities directly to NTT DATA’s worldwide GTM strategy. |
Under the agreement, NTT DATA will distribute access to the Kipu Quantum Hub and roll out Kipu’s enterprise training curriculum across its global consultancy organization. The partnership builds upon an initial industrial deployment with mining equipment leader Komatsu Peru, where Kipu’s QML algorithms were applied to improve predictive maintenance decisions for heavy equipment in real-world operating conditions.
By leveraging Kipu’s hardware-specific compression techniques—which reduce quantum circuit depth for execution on near-term NISQ and early fault-tolerant processors—the partners will jointly develop and deploy commercial algorithms for supply chain logistics, predictive maintenance, and financial risk modeling, starting in Latin America before expanding across NTT DATA’s international client base.
