Alice & Bob, a quantum hardware manufacturer, is collaborating with NVIDIA to integrate cat qubits into future datacenters. Leveraging NVIDIA technology such as DGX Quantum and CUDA Quantum, this integration aims to advance quantum computing alongside classical computing methods. DGX Quantum combines NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips and the Quantum Machines’ OPX+ control system to provide quantum error correction, calibration, control and processing of hybrid algorithms at high performance.

Cat qubits, known for their passive error correction, represent a promising platform for fault-tolerant quantum computing. Through partnerships and innovations like DYNAMIQS, an open-source quantum systems simulation library that is accelerated by GPUs and developed by Alice & Bob and its partners, the company seeks to increase the understanding and adoption of cat qubits.

Théau Peronnin, CEO of Alice & Bob, highlights the significance of NVIDIA’s expertise in computational tasks for driving quantum technology into practical business applications. Tim Costa, director of HPC and quantum at NVIDIA, emphasizes the importance of real-time error correction for the advancement of useful quantum computing. This collaboration underscores Alice & Bob’s commitment to accelerating the integration of quantum technology into industry.

A news release announcing this new collaboration has been posted on the Alice & Bob website here.
