Quantinuum has named Nathan Cobb as its Chief Commercial Officer. He will lead sales, marketing, and business development at the company. In this role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing the company’ go-to-market efforts, and evangelizing the potential of quantum computing. Cobb most recently was the

Classiq has appointed Simon Fried as its Vice-President of Business Development. He will be responsible for showing consultancies, enterprise customers and leading quantum practitioners how they can achieve quantum advantage through the use of Classiq’s software platform. Before Classiq, Fried was a founder and senior executive at Nano Dimension, a company providing products for 3D printing. Aliro Quantum has recruited Michael Wood as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Wood will be responsible for leading the company’s global marketing initiatives and be responsible for messaging, positioning, growth marketing, demand generation, analyst, and media relations for Aliro’s quantum networking products. He most recenlty was the Chief Market Officer at Versa Networks and has held other senior positions at VMware, VeloCloud Networks, Akamai, and Cisco. And Zapata Computing has brought on Lieutenant General (USMC, Ret.) Michael Groen as an advisor. As an advisor to Zapata, he will draw upon his experience with the military and intelligence communities and be responsible for helping the company with product and go-to-market strategy for its growing public sector offering. Most recently Groen served as the Director of the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC), and was the senior executive for artificial intelligence (AI) in the Department of Defense (DOD). He served in the United States Marine Corps for over 35 years in many different roles including as assignment serving as the Deputy Chief of Computer Network Operations of the National Security Agency.
