General Peter Pace has been elected Chairman of the Board of Rigetti Computing. He had been serving as a member of the company’s Board of Directors since 2017. General Pace had previously served as a four-star general in the United States Marines and was the 16th Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2005-2007 before he retired. Cambridge Quantum, part of newly formed Quantinuum, has appointed Daniel Hussein as Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Most recently Hussein was EMEA Area Vice President for IoT and Cloud Services at Arm. He will be based at Cambridge Quantum’s Munich office will be responsible for introducing Cambridge Quantum’s software and cybersecurity technology to a global client base. QuintessenceLabs has appointed Silvio Pappalardo as First Chief Revenue Officer, John Stewart as Strategic Advisor, and Biliana Rjevic as Strateic Engagement Lead. Pappalardo will be leading all sales, marketing, and channel partnership efforts across the organization and had previously been Vice-President of Sales, North America for Absolute Software. John Stewart has joined the QuintessenceLabs leadership team as a strategic advisor. Steward is the founder and President of Talons Ventures, and former SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cisco. Stewart serves as a member on the Board of Directors of several companies including Quantum Xchange, another company focused on quantum communications. And finally, Biliana Rajevic has joined the company as a new Strategic Engagement Lead. Rajevic previously served as the Engagement Manager for the Sydney Quantum Academy where she led development and implementation of the academy’s engagement strategy with quantum academics, technology partners, corporations, start-ups, government, and investors.
