Quantinuum has announced that Dr. Harry Buhrman has joined the company as Chief Scientist for Algorithms and Innovation. He will be leading the company’s quantum algorithms group and directing the integration of Quantinuum’s quantum process technology with its software and application product offerings. He has been involved with quantum computing since the 1990’s and most recently has been the Founding Director of QuSoft in Amsterdam, a Professor of Quantum Information Processing at the University of Amsterdam and a Group Leader for Algorithms and Complexity at Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica (CWI). Q-CTRL has added Dr. Dimitri Koubaroulis has Head of Engineering. He joins the company from the SafetyCulture, a software company that provides an app to help companies digitize their operations. He will be leading the engineering teams as they continue to develop their product offerings in the SaaS, IoT and AI-powered technology, and quantum infrastructure areas. Zapata AI has added Jon Zorio as Chief Revenue Officer and Dalbir Singh as Chief People Office. Zorio will be leading the company’s drive for revenue growth and expand the company’s enterprise customer and partner base for their products. He has previous sales experience at Near, Neustar Inc., IBM, and other companies. Zapata has also welcomed Dalbir Singh as Chief People Officer. He will provide HR leadership for the company as they continue to build their team, maintain the company’s culture, and implement their long-term strategic talent practices. Singh has previously held senior HR positions at Expedia, GE, Microsoft, Flipkart, CSC and HCL Technologies. Qrypt announced that Roger Biscay has added to the company’s Board of Advisors. He is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Treasurer and Head of Global Corporate Security at Cisco and leads a 1000+ team in more than 90 countries responsible for global investments, corporate finance, foreign exchange, cash management, global risk management, physical safety and security, business resiliency, and incident management. He will help advise the Qrypt on key areas such as strategy, corporate planning, financial management and compliance. PsiQuantum has created a new Government Board of Advisors consisting of the following individuals:

  • Former White House CHIPS coordinator and Professor at Duke University Dr. Ronnie Chatterji,
  • Former Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of WestExec Advisors Michèle Flournoy
  • Former Congressman and former former Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation Jim Langevin
  • Former Director, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Vice Admiral Bob Sharp, USN (Retired)

Because of their previous government experience, members of the board will ensure that the company stays informed of government perspectives and requirements. They will also help the company continue to maintain and enhance the public-private partnerships that PsiQuantum has had with U.S. and allied governments. Although the current members of the board have all come from various areas of the U.S. government, the company has stated they intend to expand it in the future to add members from other allied nations.
