PQShield a UK cybersecurity company specializing in post-quantum cryptography has added Michael Vroobel as VP of Operations and Alan Grau as VP Business Development. Vroobel has had prior experience at fintech startups TrueLayer and MarketFinance. Grau previously was the founder of IoT security firm Icon Labs that was acquired by Sectigo in 2019 and he will be based in the U.S. You can read the announcement of their joining PQShield here.

Riverlane has appointed of Cory Vander Jagt as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances. He was previously the Director of Strategic Alliances at GitHub which was acquired by Microsoft in 2018. His mission will be to establish partnerships with leading quantum hardware companies, government agencies, academic institutions, and corporate enterprises globally. And finally, Quantum Machines has announced that Max Schireson has joined the company’s Board of Directors. Schireson was the former CEO of open-source database company MongoDB. He served on the board of supercomputer manufacturer Cray until it was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2019 and serves as Executive in Residence at one of Quantum Machines’ investors, Battery Ventures, where he advises them on its cloud and big-data portfolio companies.
