Nisewaner has over 25 years of legal experience within the semiconductor and artificial intelligence sectors, most recently serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Cadence Design Systems. Pasqal has named Stéphane Rougeot as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rougeot has previously served as CFO and executive leader at publicly listed European technology and media firms, including Deezer S.A., Signify N.V., and Technicolor S.A. In his new role, he will manage Pasqal’s global financial operations, investor relations, and capital markets strategies during the company’s transition to the public markets via its pending business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. JIJ Inc. has expanded its operations into the United States with the appointments of Steven Gibson as President of Americas and Andrew J. Ochoa as Principal Solution Architect. Gibson, the former Chief Commercial Officer at Strangeworks, will lead JIJ’s commercial growth, public-sector engagement, and hyperscaler partnerships within the region. IQM Quantum Computers has finalized its business combination with Real Asset Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: IQMX) and appointed Juho Sarvikas and Jeff Tuder to its Board of Directors. Sarvikas currently serves as CEO of Inseego Corp. and formerly held senior roles at Qualcomm, HMD Global, and Microsoft. Tuder serves as Co-Chairman and CFO of Real Asset Acquisition Corp. and maintains board positions at Inseego and GCT Semiconductor. IBM has promoted Talia Gershon to the role of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of IBM Research and IBM Quantum. Gershon has spent over a decade within IBM’s hardware and cloud organizations, managing initiatives across semiconductor device research, cloud storage infrastructure, emerging technologies, and cloud-accessible quantum computing systems. The internal leadership appointment was announced by Jay Gambetta, Vice President of IBM Quantum.
PostScriptum has appointed Antti Vasara as Vice President, Quantum, to direct its newly announced €30 million quantum investment strategy. Vasara is the former President and CEO of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and serves as the Special Envoy for Technology to the Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs. His mandate involves guiding PostScriptum’s long-term capital deployment toward hardware infrastructure components, beginning with a strategic investment in cryo-CMOS electronics developer SemiQon.
