Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Edutecnicia Pvt. Ltd., through its AI research unit REYRA AI, to advance research, certification, and hardware development in Quantum Computing, Quantum Artificial Intelligence (Quantum AI), and Quantum-inspired AI. Executed by Dr. Aswini Dutt R. (Registrar, Yenepoya) and Mr. Muhammed Raees PC (Founder & CEO, REYRA AI), the agreement targets industry-academia integration across software algorithms and specialized computing architectures.
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the creation of a Quantum AI Catalyst Lab hosted at the Yenepoya School of Engineering & Technology (YSET) in Mangaluru. The laboratory will serve as an R&D hub for prototyping Quantum-inspired AI hardware accelerators (including FPGA-based deep learning and optimization modules), proof-of-concept software solutions, and cross-disciplinary research spanning healthcare, medical imaging, intelligent computing, and logistical optimization.

Under the first operational phase, YSET will launch hands-on certification courses in Quantum Machine Learning (QML) and Quantum AI led by REYRA AI’s Chief Technology Officer, offering structured exposure to quantum algorithms, embedded hardware, and quantum-inspired optimization techniques for students and faculty.
