FCA-registered digital asset platform Zumo has partnered with blockchain infrastructure provider Quantum Chain to develop quantum-safe financial infrastructure for regulated institutions, private networks, and digital payments across the United Kingdom. The initiative combines Zumo’s compliant digital-assets-as-a-service API stack with Quantum Chain’s post-quantum cryptographic blockchain protocol.
The collaboration aligns with the UK’s upcoming regulatory framework for cryptoassets, addressing emerging cyber risks posed by cryptographically relevant quantum computers and AI-driven security threats. Primary operational areas include deploying post-quantum cryptography (PQC) across central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and private financial networks, alongside supporting cross-border settlement and institutional asset management.
