BlueQubit Inc. and Quantum Art Ltd. have secured a $2.2 million grant from the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation to develop and optimize quantum machine learning algorithms and quantum processor configuration methods. In this two-year project, BlueQubit, a California-based leader in quantum software simulations, and Quantum Art, an Israeli company specializing in scalable quantum computers using trapped ion qubits, aim to accelerate breakthroughs in industries such as finance, pharma, image analysis, and security.
This collaboration will leverage BlueQubit’s expertise in quantum algorithms and Quantum Art’s advanced hardware architecture to address challenges in scaling quantum technology and making it commercially viable. The BIRD Foundation’s support underscores the significance of this U.S.-Israeli partnership in driving technological innovation and economic growth.
