Alice & Bob, a French quantum computing company, has announced its inclusion in Sifted’s ‘Future 50’ list, a ranking of Europe’s top-performing emerging startups. The company is the only quantum computing company to be ranked, achieving a calculated Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 417.38% based on revenue growth over the past two financial years.

The recognition is based on strict criteria requiring companies to be headquartered in Europe, privately held, and generating revenue exceeding €500k in the latest financial year. This growth follows the launch of Alice & Bob’s campaign to double its workforce by mid-2026 and the ongoing construction of its €50 million quantum laboratory in Paris, which includes a nanofabrication cleanroom for prototyping its proprietary cat-qubit chips.

The company is developing its cat-qubit technology toward its goal of delivering the first utility-scale quantum computer for industrial applications by 2030. Théau Peronnin, CEO of Alice & Bob, noted that the recognition is a reflection of the team’s significant expansion and expertise in developing the specialized technology.
