OPTIA, a provider of ruggedized, high-performance GPU compute platforms, and Patero, a post-quantum cryptography company, have announced a joint solution that integrates Patero’s CryptoQoR™ encryption suite into OPTIA’s NVIDIA-based systems. This solution is designed to deliver a PQC-enabled GPU server for mission-critical defense and commercial applications.
The combined solution is designed to protect inbound and outbound data streams against both present-day cyber threats and future quantum attacks. OPTIA’s portable systems are intended for AI/ML acceleration, tactical edge analytics, and C5ISR workloads for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). The integration of Patero’s quantum-safe cryptography delivers end-to-end encrypted streams. The offering aligns with Executive Order 14028 (zero-trust architecture), National Security Memo 10 (PQC transition), and Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiatives.
OPTIA and Patero are co-developing a portfolio of secure offerings for defense programs, secure infrastructure, and industrial AI applications. This partnership is positioned to support the transition to quantum-resistant cryptography within the defense and public sectors by providing a pre-integrated and packaged solution for high-performance compute without compromising data security. The collaboration between the two companies provides a platform that aligns with DoD, DHS, and NSA PQC migration guidance.
