Swinburne University and IQM Partner to Advance Quantum Ecosystem in Australia and Europe

Australia’s Swinburne University of Technology and Finnish hardware manufacturer IQM Quantum Computers have entered into an international partnership to advance quantum science, technology innovation, and workforce development across Australia, Europe, and the Indo-Pacific regions.

The agreement bridges Swinburne’s theoretical and experimental quantum research with IQM’s commercial experience in building and deploying full-stack superconducting quantum systems. The partnership was finalized following an Australian university delegation visit to the Finnish Quantum Days event in Jyväskylä and IQM’s fabrication and assembly facility in Espoo, Finland.
