Nu Quantum has launched the Quantum Data Centre Alliance (QDA), bringing together leading companies across the quantum computing stack to address the challenges of scaling quantum systems. Founding members include CiscoNTT DataOQCQphoXQuantinuum, and QuEra, representing diverse technologies such as superconducting, trapped ion, and neutral-atom quantum computing.

The QDA aims to foster collaboration on topics like distributed architectures, scaling, standardization, and interoperability, with an inaugural in-person event planned for 2025. The alliance will explore the integration of quantum computing into data center infrastructures, enabling scalable and robust quantum services.

Carmen Palacios-Berraquero, CEO of Nu Quantum, stated, “Cross-industry discussion is essential to accelerate the maturity of the quantum computing industry.” The initiative underscores the importance of collaboration in advancing quantum technologies and preparing for data center-scale quantum computing.
