Alice & Bob, a quantum computing company, has announced a plan to hire 100 new employees by mid-2026. This workforce expansion is intended to support technology development and business expansion, and will nearly double the company’s current headcount.

The hiring plan targets 90 technical roles, including scientists, engineers, and technicians in physics, quantum error correction, firmware and software development, machine learning, and quantum hardware infrastructure. The remaining 10 hires will be for business and management roles. The workforce expansion follows the company’s €100 million ($118M) Series B funding round and the launch of a quantum laboratory in Paris with a nanofabrication cleanroom.

The company’s scale-up phase is aligned with its roadmap to deliver a utility-scale quantum computer for industrial applications by 2030. Alice & Bob specializes in cat qubits, a technology developed by the company’s founders. Valentine Zatti, VP People and Culture at Alice & Bob, noted that the company is creating a new labor market with a focus on cross-disciplinary collaboration.
