BTQ Technologies has signed a non-binding term sheet to invest €2 million ($2.2 million USD) in QPerfect, a French deeptech company specializing in neutral atom quantum computing and quantum design automation. The investment, based on a €10 million ($11.3 million USD) pre-money valuation, would give BTQ a 16.67% equity stake, with an option to acquire full ownership within 12 months. The two companies aim to finalize definitive agreements by June 30, 2025.
QPerfect’s flagship platform, MIMIQ, serves as the foundation of its Quantum Logical Unit (QLU) framework, offering scalable, high-speed, and accurate quantum algorithm execution. The partnership will combine QPerfect’s expertise in quantum emulation and algorithm optimization with BTQ’s strengths in post-quantum cryptography and hardware acceleration. Subject to final agreements, BTQ will receive customary governance rights including board representation and anti-dilution protections.
Founded in 2023 and based in Strasbourg, QPerfect has received France’s i-Lab Grand Prix and collaborates with industry and academic partners. The investment will support QPerfect’s development roadmap and expansion, further positioning both companies in the growing European quantum ecosystem.
