Classiq, a quantum software company, has announced new investments in its Series C funding round from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and CDP Venture Capital, Italy’s largest venture capital operator. The investment expands Classiq’s previously announced Series C round.

SoftBank Vision Fund 2’s investment followed an evaluation by its R&D team, which assessed Classiq’s ability to generate quantum circuits designed for computational cost reduction and performance. CDP Venture Capital’s participation aligns with Italy’s strategic commitment to accelerating innovation and enhancing digital sovereignty through investments in foundational technologies such as quantum computing. Classiq’s high-level development platform enables enterprises and researchers to design, synthesize, and optimize quantum circuits by abstracting hardware-specific complexities, utilizing proprietary algorithmic quantum circuit compilation technology.

The new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand global partnerships, and deepen customer engagements across industries including finance, automotive, telecommunications, energy, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. This investment aims to strengthen Classiq’s position as a software foundation for enterprise-scale quantum computing. The expansion of the Series C round reflects continued interest in quantum software development platforms that simplify quantum programming for enterprises and researchers.
