EntropiQ has officially launched as the first dedicated provider of Quantum Entropy as a Service (QEaaS), offering on-demand, elastic, and crypto-agile quantum entropy distribution tailored for critical infrastructure. The startup, headquartered in Atlanta with operations in Zurich, delivers hardware-seeded entropy over a post-quantum encrypted network and integrates with existing systems via API, meeting NIST SP 800-90 guidelines. The company’s platform is designed to preempt emerging quantum threats by enabling secure data protection before large-scale quantum decryption becomes viable.

To scale deployment and operational validation, EntropiQ has partnered with Equinix and GIS QSP. Through integration at Equinix Solution Validation Centers in Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C., the company is testing and demonstrating its QEaaS platform in secure, scalable environments, with further expansion planned to Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi. GIS QSP will provide cybersecurity architecture and support to help adapt EntropiQ’s services to regulated industries and mission-critical use cases.

EntropiQ’s offering positions it at the intersection of quantum readiness and cybersecurity infrastructure modernization. With post-quantum resilience increasingly prioritized by governments and industry, the startup aims to provide the foundational entropy layer for future-proof encryption solutions. Its architecture supports SaaS, hybrid, private cloud, and on-premise deployments, and future demonstrations are planned at Equinix’s Quantum Computing Center in Tokyo.
