NokiaHoneywell Aerospace Technologies, and Numana have announced a strategic partnership to advance Quantum-Safe Networks (QSN) in Quebec, Canada, and globally. The collaboration aims to drive innovation, accelerate the adoption of secure networking technologies, and raise awareness about the importance of quantum-safe communications for safeguarding digital infrastructure.

The partnership leverages Numana’s Kirq Quantum Communication Testbed, a facility designed for testing and validating quantum-resistant and quantum communication technologies. Nokia will contribute its expertise in post-quantum networking, including advanced IP routers, high-capacity optical transport nodes, and quantum-safe cryptographic technologies. Honeywell Aerospace Technologies will provide quantum-secure encryption keys for satellite-to-terrestrial communications, enhancing the security of data transmitted from space to Earth.

The collaboration aligns with Quebec and Canada’s commitments to quantum innovation and cybersecurity leadership. The Numana facility in Quebec will serve as a hub for enterprises, research institutions, and government agencies to explore and validate secure networking technologies in real-world environments. The partnership will also focus on education, ecosystem development, and joint research to advance quantum-secure communication solutions.
