Quantum Computing Inc. (“QCi”) (Nasdaq: QUBT) has announced it will debut Neurawave, a photonics-based reservoir computing system, at the SuperCompute25 (SC25) conference in St. Louis, Missouri. The system is designed to meet industry integration standards, utilizing a standard PCIe interface to combine optical computing with digital electronics for high-performance applications.
Neurawave operates fully at room temperature with a compact design and leverages the dynamic properties of photonic systems for fast, energy-efficient performance. The system is intended for edge-AI use cases such as signal processing, time-series forecasting, and pattern recognition, adding hardware-based intelligence and data processing capabilities to QCi’s quantum products.
The launch is positioned as a step in moving QCi’s photonic technology roadmap toward scalable, real-world systems. The company, which specializes in integrated photonics and quantum optics technology, will also provide on-cloud demonstrations of its Dirac-3 quantum computer at SC25, showcasing its full-stack approach to quantum and photonic solutions.
