
Quantum eMotion Corp. (QeM) has announced a brokered private placement led by A.G.P. Canada Investments ULC, raising CA$6 million ($4.22 million USD) in gross proceeds. The offering, priced at CA$0.75 per unit, includes one common share and one warrant, with each warrant allowing the purchase of an additional share at CA$1.10 for three years. The funds will accelerate the company’s research and development (R&D) efforts, expand its R&D team, and support commercialization initiatives.
The securities issued under the Listed Issuer Financing Exemption (LIFE) are expected to be freely tradeable, with no hold period under Canadian securities laws. The offering is also available to U.S. and international investors under applicable exemptions. Closing is anticipated on or around February 24, 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
QeM specializes in quantum-secure solutions, leveraging its patented Quantum Random Number Generator to enhance cybersecurity for high-value assets and critical systems. The company targets sectors such as financial services, healthcare, blockchain, and government networks.
