Quobly has introduced a new quantum circuit emulator developed in partnership with QPerfect, marking an early milestone in the company’s industrialization roadmap. The “perfect” emulator, which models quantum circuits without physical errors, is already deployed on OVHcloud and supports industry-standard languages compatible with Cirq and Qiskit.
This software tool allows researchers and developers to begin prototyping quantum algorithms in anticipation of Quobly’s forthcoming silicon-based quantum processor. The platform is positioned as a training and validation environment for applications in sectors such as logistics, quantum chemistry, finance, defense, and bioinformatics. The initial version supports 27–31 logical qubits with no noise or decoherence, offering a stable foundation for early engagement from public and private stakeholders.
Quobly’s longer-term plan includes releasing enhanced versions of the emulator that introduce realistic noise models, advanced simulation methods, and larger qubit capacity—up to 100 qubits. The launch aligns with the company’s broader industrialization strategy, enabled by its partnership with STMicroelectronics and the use of 28nm FD-SOI manufacturing processes for hardware development.
