SEEQC, Inc., a quantum computing startup, has moved into an expanded U.S. headquarters, arranging a new 13,635-square-foot lease at 15 Skyline Dr. in Hawthorne, New York. The new space, which includes office and lab facilities, is intended to support the design, testing, and manufacturing of quantum-ready superconductors. This move follows the company’s existing operations in the UK and Italy.
SEEQC creates digital chips to power full-stack quantum computing systems. The company’s technology combines classical and quantum components, integrating superconducting qubit chips with proprietary Single Flux Quantum (SFQ) technology, SFQ-based superconductive classical co-processors, and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). This chip-scale architecture is designed to address efficiency, stability, and cost issues within quantum computing systems.
The new headquarters aims to provide the infrastructure needed to scale SEEQC’s technology and grow its team, positioning the company closer to partners and a talent pool from academic institutions. SEEQC is backed by over $60 million in funding from investors including M-Ventures, Merk KGaA, and LG Technology Ventures, and has recently announced collaborations with IBM Quantum and NVIDIA.
