SpinQ Technology Inc. (SpinQ) has announced the completion of a Series B funding round, securing several hundred million RMB (several multiples of $14M USD). The funding round includes investments from government-backed funds such as CCB Private Equity Investment Management Company and Liangxi Sci-Tech City Development Fund, alongside institutional investors including StarsUp Investment, Huaqiang Capital, and Jiusong Fund. This financing aims to accelerate SpinQ’s technological upgrades and commercial expansion.
SpinQ has established an industry presence through its superconducting quantum computers, NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) quantum computers, quantum computing cloud platform, and application software. The company reports that its superconducting quantum computers have been delivered overseas, and the development of its 100-qubit chips is progressing. Education-grade hardware and solutions have received upgrades with AI-powered enhancements. SpinQ’s products and services are utilized by over 200 universities, enterprises, and research institutions across more than 40 countries and regions on five continents.
The funding supports SpinQ’s strategy, which combines technology research with commercial implementation, aligning with the reported transition of China’s quantum computing industry from R&D to industrial application. The participation of diverse capital sources aims to support the company’s industrialization efforts. SpinQ plans to further accelerate global business development and foster broader ecosystem partnerships, while also working to deepen AI–quantum integration and expand diverse applications with customers.
