Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) has expanded its executive team with the appointments of Brett Freeman as Chief Operating Officer and Matthew Bradley as Vice President of Corporate Development. Freeman brings deep experience in commercialising advanced technologies and scaling operations, with prior roles at Intel, GE, and 5B. Quantum Australia has appointed Petra Andrén as its inaugural Chief Executive Officer. Andrén, former CEO of Cicada Innovations, brings extensive experience in early-stage tech investment and innovation ecosystems. She will lead the organization’s efforts to strengthen Australia’s position in the global quantum industry through collaboration with government, academia, and industry. IonQ has named Niccolo de Masi as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Peter Chapman, who now serves as Executive Chairman. De Masi, a physicist and board member since 2021, previously led multiple public tech companies and helped take IonQ public via SPAC. In addition, Gabrielle Toledano has joined IonQ’s Board of Directors, bringing leadership experience from Tesla, Electronic Arts (EA), and Oracle. The announcements are available here and here.
