Quantistry, a Berlin-based start-up specializing in cloud-native chemical simulation, and IQM Quantum Computers, a leader in quantum computing technology, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore hybrid classical-quantum solutions for the chemical and material industries. This collaboration aims to integrate IQM’s advanced quantum systems into QuantistryLab, Quantistry’s simulation platform, enhancing its efficiency and accuracy for industrial applications.
Dr. Peter Eder, Head of Strategic Partnerships at IQM, highlighted the partnership’s potential to drive innovation and leadership in quantum computing, noting the importance of addressing industrial challenges. The collaboration will leverage IQM’s recently launched IQM Resonance cloud service, which provides easy access to its quantum systems for algorithm development and testing.
Dr. Arturo Robertazzi, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder at Quantistry, emphasized the partnership’s focus on sustainability and renewable energy, aiming to reshape chemical and material R&D. Quantistry’s recent €3 million ($3.24 million USD) funding round, led by Ananda Impact Ventures and Chemovator, will support this mission.
