Welinq, a leader in modular quantum computing and quantum networking, has unveiled araQne, its first compiler designed for distributed quantum computing (DQC). The software addresses the challenge of scaling quantum computations by partitioning large algorithms and distributing them across a network of smaller quantum processing units (QPUs), enabling tasks that exceed the capacity of individual devices.

araQne optimizes resource usage and minimizes quantum communication requirements, leveraging advanced gate arrangement techniques and quantum communication protocols. It plays a key role in initiatives like AQADOC, a global effort to develop distributed quantum algorithms for energy production and management, in collaboration with partners such as EDF, Pasqal, and Quandela.

As part of Welinq’s full-stack vision for modular quantum computing, araQne complements the company’s quantum interconnect hardware and protocols, positioning Welinq as a leader in scalable quantum computing solutions.
