QuEra Computing, a company developing neutral-atom based quantum computers, has announced Quantum Creators Con, a first-of-its-kind competition that brings together STEM students and creative professionals to produce compelling content about neutral-atom quantum computing. The event will take place on February 3-9, 2025 at Columbia University’s Wang Pavilion, aims to make quantum computing more accessible and inspire diverse talent to join the field.

The competition pairs students with expertise in quantum computing, AMO physics, or related fields with creatives skilled in digital media, animation, and design. Participants will receive guidance from world-class instructors, including quantum scientists and creative professionals, to develop accurate and engaging content.

QuEra has partnered with the UK Government’s Global Talent Network to support the initiative, reinforcing a shared commitment to global collaboration and workforce development in quantum computing.

Pedro Lopes, Quantum Advocate at QuEra, emphasized the importance of storytelling in making quantum computing accessible, stating, “We need more than just scientists—we need storytellers, designers, and visionaries who can translate its possibilities to the world.”
