Kipu Quantum has announced the commercial availability of its Iskay Quantum Optimizer on IBM’s Qiskit Functions Catalog, making the application accessible to members of the IBM Quantum Network, including Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, and research labs. The optimizer, which leverages Kipu’s Bias-Field Digitized Counterdiabatic Quantum Optimization (BF-DCQO) algorithm, is designed to solve complex optimization problems using all 156 qubits of IBM’s Heron processor.
The Iskay Quantum Optimizer is engineered to address higher-order unconstrained binary optimization (HUBO) problems, delivering high-quality solutions in shorter time frames compared to traditional algorithms. Its non-variational approach enables efficient handling of large-scale optimization tasks, making it suitable for industries such as logistics, finance, telecommunications, energy, and materials science. The application’s integration into the Qiskit Functions Catalog allows users to access advanced quantum optimization capabilities without requiring deep expertise in quantum hardware.
A live demonstration of the Iskay Quantum Optimizer will be presented at the APS Summit 2025 at IBM’s booth (#448) on March 18. This provides enterprises and researchers with practical solutions for real-world challenges.
