Infleqtion, a leading quantum information company, has been awarded a Phase II contract to collaborate with the Australian Army in the Quantum Technology Challenge (QTC). The project will focus on developing quantum physically unclonable functions (QPUFs) to enhance the reliability and security of quantum systems, providing protection against potential threats such as device spoofing. Infleqtion, alongside Sydney-based Diraq, aims to advance quantum computing security and trust.

The collaboration builds on Infleqtion’s success in QTC 2023, where the company showcased quantum solutions for military operational challenges. Infleqtion will design and evaluate prototype QPUF codes, leveraging its proprietary Superstaq software and cold atom technology.

Infleqtion will demonstrate its progress at the QTC 2024 Exhibition during the Chief of Army Symposium at Land Forces International in Melbourne, Australia.
